Over 15 years ago, Cherry Capital Foods began the difficult but rewarding work of building a sustainable local food system. During that time, CCF helped dozens of small to mid-sized farmers and food producers bring their products to the marketplace when larger distributors would not. We've endeavored to be more than a distributor, operating as a partner to help launch hundreds of local farms and brands, bringing authentic and unique products not available elsewhere to the public.

CCF is proud to have been a premiere food distribution partner for the 10 Cents a Meal school lunch program, which has provided hundreds of thousands of pounds of Michigan-grown produce to students across our state. We have partnered with countless Food Hubs across Michigan, supplying them with products and in some cases distribution support.

In recent years, it's become increasingly difficult to operate as a small business in a highly competitive environment dominated by large corporations who offer lower cost products, often working with government subsidized growers. We have finally reached a point where we have made the difficult decision to close our doors.

Thank you to all of our loyal customers and vendors, and to the amazing group of hard-working, dedicated team members who believe in our mission of creating a sustainable and equitable local foods system.
